The 12 feet thick walls are steeped in history and yet the ancient staircase accesses a warm, comfortable and supremely elegant family home, furnished in a style true to its period but with all “mod cons”.
The Great Hall, perhaps has to be seen to be believed, but where it once housed the local sheriff ’s court, it now lends itself beautifully to social and family gatherings in an ambience combining individuality, elegance and comfort. And yet it is not overpowering - it is, in fact, our home in Scotland.

Scotland’s principal cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, are, respectively only 40 and 90 minutes away.
The Highlands and Islands are easily reached within the compass of a morning’s drive.
